Terms of Use

Welcome to Tamtzit. Use of the app and website is subject to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. The service is operated by Guy Dor ("we"). By using the service you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Tamtzit records, transcribes and summarizes conversations, meetings and lectures, and lets you search and ask questions about your recordings. We develop the service continuously and may add, change or discontinue features.

2. Who may use it

The service is for people aged 18 and over. Registration is by invitation only — with an invite code, or a join request that we approve. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done in your account.

3. Your content

Your recordings, files and transcripts belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you — transcribe, summarize, search, back up and sync. We use them for nothing else, and not to train models.

4. Recording lawfully and responsibility for content

You are responsible for making sure every recording you make is lawful. Under Israel's Secret Monitoring Law, 5739-1979, you may record a conversation you take part in, and may not record other people's conversations without their consent. You should tell participants that you are recording, and in some settings — for example at work, in therapy or in a professional meeting — their consent may be required. When our note-taker joins a meeting it is visible to all participants and must be admitted by the host.

Your content is your sole responsibility. Tamtzit is only a technical tool: we do not choose what is recorded, we do not monitor or review what you record, and we have no way of knowing whether consent was given. You alone — not us — are responsible for any content you record, upload, import or share, and for any use you make of it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we bear no liability of any kind for that content, or for any damage, claim or breach of law arising from it, whether toward you or toward anyone else. If a claim is made against us because of content you recorded, uploaded or shared, or because you breached these terms, you will indemnify us for any resulting damage and expense, including reasonable legal fees.

5. Prohibited use

Do not use the service to secretly monitor others, infringe copyright or privacy, upload unlawful content, harm the service or its servers, circumvent limits, or access other people's accounts.

6. AI output

Transcripts, summaries, insights and answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Check them before relying on them. They are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

7. Availability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and reliable and to back up your data, but we do not guarantee it will always work, be error-free or never lose data. We recommend exporting important recordings or connecting Google Drive.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, loss of data or loss of profits arising from use of the service, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event.

9. Price

The service is currently free. If we add paid features, we will state their price in advance and will not charge you unless you choose them.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account; details in the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will give notice in advance where possible.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Israeli law, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
