Delete your Tamtzit account

How to delete

In the app (phone or computer): sign in, open Settings, and in the Account section tap Delete account and confirm. On a computer: tamtzit.com/app.

Without access to the app: email [email protected] from the address registered on the account, with the subject "Delete account". We handle requests within 7 days.

What happens next

• The account is locked at once and can no longer be used.
• After 30 days these are permanently deleted: the account, all recordings, attached photos and files, transcripts, summaries and insights, collections, tags and templates, and Google Drive and AI connections.
• Signing in again within those 30 days cancels the deletion.

What is not deleted

• Copies of recordings you shared that another user already accepted — those are theirs.
• Files synced to your Google Drive — they are in your own account.
• Encrypted disaster-recovery backups are kept for up to 6 months, then deleted. They are used for nothing else.

Deleting a single recording, without deleting the account

• Long-press the recording in the list (or use the ⋮ menu on its page) → Delete. It moves to the Trash, where it can be restored for 30 days.
• After 30 days it is permanently deleted: the audio, transcript, summary and insights, and any photos and files attached to it.
• To delete it right away: Settings → Trash → Delete forever.
• A copy already synced to your Google Drive stays in your own account, where you can delete it.
